StS acquires Bilfingers Lambda business

StS gruppen acquires Bilfinger’s Lambda products; Jackets, PPS (Pipe Penetration Seal) and Boltcare.

“We signed the agreement on March 4, and we are proud that we are now strengthening our product range and expertise,” says Ingrid Solheim, CEO of StS gruppen.

The acquisition means that StS will take over the employees, production equipment, trademarks, patents and certificates. The business is located in Bergen. – We welcome all six employees to StS, says Solheim.

– With this acquisition, we are strengthening the product range within StS’s disciplines, and upgrading and expanding the premises at Midtun. It is a goal for us to strengthen our product portfolio and this acquisition fits in well with our goals ”says Solheim.

All three Lambda products represent the insulation of various pipes and connections typically found on offshore installations, but the company also produces products that are relevant to markets outside of oil and gas.
